COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions? We have answers.

Immigration can feel overwhelming. Here are answers to some of the questions we hear most often.

Can I get a green card through marriage?

Marriage to a U.S. citizen or green card holder may make you eligible for a green card. The process depends on your immigration history, where you're living, and other circumstances. We can help you understand your options.

Can I apply for a marriage green card without leaving the United States?

Some people can apply for a green card while remaining in the United States. Others may need to complete the process through a U.S. embassy or consulate abroad. Your immigration history, including how you entered the country, matters. We can review your situation and explain which options may be available.

What's the difference between a fiancé(e) visa and a marriage green card?

A fiancé(e) visa generally allows an eligible person to come to the United States to marry their U.S. citizen partner. After the wedding, they can typically apply for a green card. If you're already married, a different immigration process generally applies.

How much does an immigration attorney cost?

The cost depends on the type of immigration case and the help you need. We offer flat-fee pricing for many services, so you'll know the legal fees before deciding to hire us. Government filing fees and other expenses are generally separate.

Can you review an application I've already prepared?

Yes. If you've prepared your own immigration application, we may be able to review it before you file. Application review services start at $1,500, with the final price depending on the application and the work involved.
